The Contained Gardener
plan is a
maintenance plan that includes
deadheading and trimming of all
plants, fertilizing, deep watering, pot
rotation (as needed) and general
upkeep of all installed
plants.
This service is
offered on a weekly
or bi-weekly basis
to all clients.
Residential clients
who sign up for our
annual program are
invited to join our
Seriously Potted Circle
and receive many discounts and
specials from The Contained
Gardener as well as other locally
owned businesses.

The Fine Print

Deadheading, trimming, pot rotation,
fertilizing, all done by experienced
Potted Garden Specialist
No more throwing out dead plants
you did not get around to planting
(billed separately)
Annuals for one blooming cycle (typically 3-4 months)
Perennials, trees, cactus and shrubs for 6 months
Replacement of dead or dying plants with appropriate plants of equal value
No charge above your normal for installing Guaranteed
Replacement plants.
Our Guarantee is only available to residential clients with irrigation systems to their pots
We cannot guarantee plants that have been affected by:
The above conditions will be indicated by dry soil, missing plants, loss of all plants and/or overturned pots.
Note: It is typical to experience occasional plant loss not full pot loss.
Because we visit your property once every 7-14 days, we must rely on your careful attention to your
container garden. Please let us know immediately if something does not look right so that we can take action
and avoid unnecessary loss. We cannot be held responsible for unforeseen changes that may occur.
If replacing non-guaranteed plants and/or materials cannot be done during your regular
time, we will request your approval to complete the work at our standard installation rate of $50 per hour
plus materials.
Please note: Semi-annual Repottings are at an additional cost and not part of
or the Guarantee.
For customers without our maintenance plan, all plants are guaranteed for
one month from installation, with the exceptions noted above.
